ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: The bending mode of carbody suspended with a heavy weight electric transformer is studied by modal test approach. We carried on three test cases of vibration excitation, i.e., excitation by the vibration of electric transformer, excitation of white noise acting on wheelset, excitation of random burst by electric exciter on carbody. And we compare the elastic modal characters of carbody, and find the basic bending mode of carbody could be identified directly under the vibration of electric transformer when it work. The differences of modal results deduced by three excitation cases are discussed.
