ABSTRACT
Enzymes are biological macromolecules that catalyze the complex network of reactions essential to a living organism and constitute the dynamic aspects of life. They are involved in the synthesis and degradation of proteins, carbohydrates, nucleic acids and other components of living systems as well as in furnishing energy for living processes.
