Typically, when you think about the Grid, what you most naturally start thinking about is, quite naturally, the hardware. After all, nearly anyone that you ask will assure you that the Grid is all about sharing hardware resources, scavenging for CPU cycles, and making the most efficient use of the hardware resources at an organization’s disposal. But exactly what hardware are we talking about?
