ABSTRACT

As discussed in the previous chapter, the psychotechnological perspective creates a bridge between designers and evaluators and, in this way, equalizes the relationship between design and assessment processes by focusing on the life cycle on the intrasystemic dialogue between user and technology. In the present chapter, we dene an integrated methodology of interaction evaluation (IMIE) that drives the team of evaluators (hereafter, “evaluators,” or “evaluator” to refer to a part of the team) to analyze all the emergent aspects of the interaction. This can help designers to redesign the technology so that its functioning is in tune with users’ needs and expectations, by following the same designers’ main goals and facilitating an intrasystemic dialogue.
