ABSTRACT
The vibrations in a dynamic system are usually caused by the presence of a time-varying force. The response that results from the application of such a force is called forced vibration response. When damping is absent or negligible, the vibrations are commonly referred to as undamped forced vibrations; when damping is taken into account, the term damped forced vibration is used.
