ABSTRACT
Many problems in physics and engineering are described by partial dierential equations (PDEs) with appropriate boundary and initial value conditions. Partial dierential equations have a major role in electromagnetic theory, uid dynamics, trac ow and many other disciplines. Therefore there is a need to study the theory of partial dierential equations and the rest of the book is devoted entirely to this important topic.
