ABSTRACT
Maned wolves have a long tradition ex situ. In many zoos all over the world, people can view this species. Over the last 80 years, more than 3250 individuals have been listed in the International Studbook (ISB) for the maned wolf. These animals have been shown in more than 320 different institutions globally.
