ABSTRACT
The Program for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies (PIAAC) is an international large-scale household assessment under the auspices of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). The assessment began being administered for the first time in 2011 to approximately five thousand individuals between the ages of sixteen and sixty-five in each of the twenty-seven participating countries.
