ABSTRACT
Brian A. Fuchs joined the National Drought Mitigation Center (NDMC) in 2005. Before coming to the NDMC, he worked for 5 years for the High Plains Regional Climate Center as a regional climatologist. Brian’s responsibilities with the NDMC include working as a climatologist for the center, with various research and service duties related to his position. Brian participates with other NDMC sta£ in the production of the US Drought Monitor (USDM) as one of the coauthors, and he serves as a media contact for climate-and drought-related topics.
