Not another meeting! Although a face-to-face meeting is not a requirement, periodic formal design reviews are. It is possible to have a design review without having people in the room. It could all be done, at least theoretically, by shifting reams of paper back and forth and having everybody sign off on everything, and you could always do it on the Internet, but unless at least the majority of these design review meetings are held in person, the real benefit of having them will be lost.
