ABSTRACT
Light rays travel in straight lines. When an object is illuminated, or is self-luminous (e.g., a candle or light bulb), rays of light emanate from the
object.
What happens to these light rays? Some of them go off and strike other surfaces and are reflected, refracted or absorbed. Some go off into space, and some may enter someone’s eye.
