ABSTRACT

Nanostructured materials are a heavily researched topic in today’s scientic community as many new and exciting properties have been attributed to these materials with conned dimensions.1-10 However, there is still a lot unknown about what aspects of these structures initiate and/or enhance these new found phenomena. Therefore, methods are needed to tune their morphology and composition in order to make model nanomaterials that can be precisely controlled so accurate knowledge of their performance versus structure can be achieved.
