ABSTRACT
As we pointed out in Chapter 1, a trademark of survival analysis is the introduction of hazard parameters. Although it is equivalent to a CDF, many statistical analyses of survival data become easier when we use the hazard function as the parameter. Empirical likelihood is another testament to that fact.
