On-linemeasurementsofstripflatnessmustbebasedonnondestructivemethods.Thenondestructive methodsofmeasurementarebasedontherelationshipbetweenthestripwavinessthatisdeterminedby slittingthestripandthevariationofstressesandgeometryalongthewidthoftheuncutstrip.Depending onwhichoftheseindirectparametersisusedforflatnessmeasurement,thefollowingmethodscanbe identified:
•Internalstressmethod. •Externalstressmethod. •Geometricalmethod.
