ABSTRACT

The variation in roll separating force will cause the servovalve droop factor -y to change in accordance with Eq. (10-29). Assuming that the pump pressure remains constant, an increase in roll separating force will result in an increase in the servovalve droop factor. This, in turn, will decrease the apparent control system stiffness Kc as predicted from Eq. (10-60). The final result will be a decrease in the steady-state position error E as described in Eqs. (10-65) and (10-66).
