ABSTRACT

This paper describes the methodology adopted and the results obtained within the ergonomic design of the WantEat interactive system. The reference methodology for this project included different consolidated methods in the field of human factors, but also required a creative combination of different techniques in order to effectively evaluate the complexity of the system. Specially some aspects related to the evaluation of an ontology-based knowledge engine and the new concept of a social network of people and objects required to take a step further beyond a consolidated user centered approach.
