ABSTRACT

Fluid materials, having low molecular weights, mutually soluble components that are made up of single phase, are Newtonian.

Some Newtonian Žuids found in the food and agricultural industries are water, vegetable oils, glycerin, ethanol, ethylene, gasoline, skim milk, most honeys, ‡ltered fruit juices, and syrups. †e viscosity of water and honey is about 1 and 8880cp, respectively. †e Žuids that do not follow the equation of Newton’s law of viscosity are called non-Newtonian Žuids.
