Deformation of a Half-Space and Contact Problems

Let us take a sizeable isotropic body restricted by a plane. This semi-infinite body is called a half-space. We presume for definiteness the half-space to be orientated so that the plane restricting it is horizontal and the half-space body is located below the boundary plane. Orientation of the half-space is conditioned by Cartesian coordinates Ox1x2x3, where Ox3 axis is directed vertically downwards.
