ABSTRACT

Introduction e number concentration of cloud condensation nuclei (CCN) is an important parameter for cloud microphysics. e number concentration and size distribution of cloud droplets are aected by changes in the CCN number concentration. Consequently, CCN number concentration is indirectly related to radiative forcing and the hydrological cycle. us, it is important to measure the CCN number concentration and CCN activity of atmospheric particles precisely (Twomey, 1974; Lohmann and Feichter, 2005, and references therein).
