ABSTRACT
Some research questions are answered best when the samples are paired or dependent upon one another in some way. Tests presented in this chapter are based on cases that represent pairs of scores that are dependent on one another. Dependent samples are also referred to as paired, matched, or related. The terms are used interchangeably.
