ABSTRACT

In recent years, in the textile industry, there is a growing interest in the development of eco-friendly textile processing, with the use of naturally occurring materials (Barani and Montazer 2008). However, the specic industry involved with the application of dyes to textiles has a responsibility to ensure that the potential for harm to the environment, for example, through residues in wastestreams is minimized. Liposomes (lipid vesicles) are one of those eco-friendly auxiliaries to dyeing textile materials that have low environmental impact.
