ABSTRACT
Some alternative forms of the governing equations, as derived in Chapter 1, will be discussed here. The results are all obtained from the governing equations under various degrees of approximation such as negligible viscous effects. Some of the results are frequently referred to as theorems. They are used either as alternatives to the general equations derived in Chapter 1, under the speci‡ed restrictions, or as supplementary information to these equations.
