ABSTRACT
This chapter intends to give an overview on the current knowledge about the origin of underarm odor and the biology of the underarm microora and its interaction with deodorizing agents. The contents of this chapter have been arranged in a particular sequence to facilitate the understanding of rational deodorant product development.
