ABSTRACT

Surfactants are widely used in many fields, ranging from the cosmetic, food, and pharmaceutical industries to the petroleum industry and oil recovery. In everyday life, their important role can be attributed especially to applications as cleaning, wetting, dispersing, emulsifying, foaming, antistatic, and bactericidal agents. Since all of these properties can be assigned to the surfactant characteristic amphophilic character, their behavior in aqueous solutions became a topic of interest for many researchers.
