ABSTRACT
David Fox (see Figure 11.1) was one of the first programmers and designers hired at Lucasfilm Games, the George Lucas company that later changed its name to LucasArts. Probably best known for designing the graphical adventure game Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders, David is also responsible for Rescue on Fractalus!, an innovative action game that used fractals to generate its landscape. David is also credited on several other adventure games, including Labyrinth, Loom, Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade: The Graphic Adventure, and Maniac Mansion.
