Mentoring within the project management environment presents a powerful means to transfer not just project management skills and knowledge but also leadership techniques, business values, and professional ethics. A strong project management mentoring program is an excellent way for the project management office (PMO) to support professional development for project professionals and promote the consistent use of sound practices across project teams.
