ABSTRACT
Logistics and engineering applications are among the most important functions of geologic remote sensing. Engineers, increasingly aware of the capabilities of remote sensing technology, are applying imagery and other remote surveys to mapping and measuring environmental factors. This chapter reviews some of the applications that have been used successfully by various engineering groups.
