ABSTRACT
Colorado tick fever (CTF) is a disease caused by a double-stranded RNA virus of the same name, belonging to the genus Coltivirus, family Reoviridae (Figure 22.1). La Crosse encephalitis, California encephalitis, Cache Valley virus, and Jamestown Canyon virus are caused by viruses of the family Bunyaviridae. They will also be covered in this chapter.
