ABSTRACT
Resource management provides the operational facilities for managing and securing an enterprise-wide, distributed, multi-platform data architecture. Nowadays, multi-platform includes mobile devices-many of which are BYOD. Resource management provides a common view of the data including definitions, stewardship, distribution, and currency, and allows those charged with ensuring operational integrity and availability the tools necessary to do so.
