ABSTRACT

Time and space are basic characteristics of objects in the physical world, and the consistent space-time data are significant for objects’ modeling, discovery, and services when they are mapped from the physical world to the cyber world. Different technologies, such as radio frequency identification (RFID), global positioning system (GPS), infrared localization technology, and cameras, are available to obtain objects’ space-time data. However, the obtained data are usually nonuniform, inconsistent, and discontinuous due to the limitations of different technologies [1]. In Internet of Things (IoT), space-time data are required to be accurate, comprehensive, and continuous. Therefore, the study on consistency and space-time registration becomes noteworthy.
