ABSTRACT
More than just Other Players Games are something that inspire real passion in players, so it is not surprising that frequently, communities arise around games. These can be communities of fans, as in professional sports, or communities of players, as in World of Warcraft, or communities of designers, as in The Sims. These communities can be very powerful forces, extending the life of a game by many years by constantly drawing in new players.
