ABSTRACT
History A 79-year-old female presents to A&E complaining of acute severe headache with several episodes of vomiting. The headache has been present for 3 hours, the onset being sudden. The pain is worse on moving her head and she describes it as constant and generalized. She has a past medical history of poorly controlled hypertension. She denies any history of trauma.
