ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we will consider energy management and the associated energy analysis usually encountered or employed in energy applications. We will first introduce a few energy management tools and the basic terms of management study, such as energy audits, and energy life-cycle analysis. We will also discuss the environmental aspects of energy applications, which include energy pollutants, energy safety, control, and the impacts associated with energy applications. Of primary importance also is the discussion of various energy policies and planning for our future energy sustainability and to promote clean energy.
