ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we consider solar energy and electromechanical energy conversion applications. Solar energy can be divided into two parts: the light part — solar photovoltaic (PV), and the heat part — solar thermal energy. As to the electromechanical conversion applications, we shall first discuss the battery systems, and then the fuel cell.
