ABSTRACT

So far we have been addressing ourselves to problems of inference making about characteristics defined as parameters as values defined on the members of a finite population of individuals. This is in the area of descriptive surveys. As opposed to this we may be interested in speculating about underlying random processes which have had their effects as the realization of the values of individuals defined on the finite population at hand. When dealing with inference issues concerning such processes, we talk about analytical surveys. Now we pass on to the issues which need certain special approaches not yet covered by us.
