ABSTRACT
Generally, every site location has special characteristics, depending on the aggregate materials available near the site. So the main task for designing the concrete mix is to obtain the required concrete characteristic strength after 28 days for standard cubes or cylinders according to the project specification. This is a very important factor in designing the concrete mix. The second factor is the workability and the concrete must be pourable, as in case of using a pump in the casting process, which needs a special concrete deign mix.
