ABSTRACT
The postoperative management of patients may be of equal importance to patient outcome as the surgery itself. Attention to detail in postoperative management will optimize the results of the surgery, but it requires attention, time and skill. With such attention, the most common postoperative complications (bleeding, crusting, infection, synechiae, ostial stenosis and middle turbinate lateralization) may be minimized.
