ABSTRACT
Corporate governance is an approach widely used in the United States and one that is starting to acquire a certain reputation among companies in Europe. The need to obtain greater efficiency within each individual company department has been pursued for many years. Faced with the growing multiplicity and complexity of these structures, improvements in productivity are also looked for each company level. Corporate governance goes beyond the strategy of the firm, and it involves the entire company.
