ABSTRACT
A revised new classiftication has been proposed in order to modify the basic model and to include subsequent changes such as the following subtypes of fungal nail plate invasion (Fig. 4A.1). The purpose of the revised classifi cation is to provide a framework to assist selection of treatment, estimate prognosis, and evaluate new diagnostic methods.
