ABSTRACT

The preparation of chitosan films, pellets, fibers and other products is made by disolution chitosan. The dilute aqueous solutions of acetic acid commonly are using as the cheapest and most accessible reagent that provides the formation of water soluble polymer derivative chitosan acetate. However, the high boiling point of the solvent (>100°C) and relatively low concentration of the polymer in forming solutions (£6%) causes the low speed of the thermal spinning process.
