Bayesian modeling and model–based decision analysis

This chapter deals with a few different but closely related topics: Bayesian modeling, meta analysis and model based decision analysis (DA). DA is introduced in a Bayesian framework, following texts on this topic, e.g., Parmigiani et al. (2009), and includes some contents of DA with multiple objectives, in particular, applications in treatment benefit assessment. The meta analysis part includes mixed treatment comparison with an attempt to deal with some special topics in a general framework.
