18.1 Introduction The unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is widely used in military and civilian applications. It can be used for field surveillance through the cameras deployed on the UAV body. However, when the UAVs are deployed in complicated radio signal conditions, it is a challenging issue to maintain the communication performance such as the throughput and time delays. Especially for the video transmission on UAVs, the task of maintaining high-quality video transmission is critical.
