ABSTRACT
In this chapter we will analyze both thermal and elastic effects in a contact lubricated by a fluid with general non-Newtonian rheology including the effect of heat dissipation in contact solids. The problem will be considered under the classic assumptions (see Sections 4.2 and 5.2).
