ABSTRACT
In this chapter we will introduce some basic commonly used properties of elastic solids such as Young’s modulus, Poisson’s ratio, etc. These material properties are important not only for calculation of material stresses, deformations, and surface displacements but also for studying heat transfer in materials [1, 2].
