Question 1 i. A 7-year-old girl presents to the ED with a 3-day history of fever, lethargy

and a productive cough. She has recently returned from a family holiday abroad. She has been off her food and complaining of generalised muscle aches and neck stiffness. On examination, she is tachypnoeic, well hydrated but febrile. A full systemic examination is performed which is essentially normal other than reduced air entry at the left upper lobe.
