ABSTRACT
Forty per cent of all surgical patients experience PONV. There are certain patient factors as well as certain operations that make PONV more likely.
Patient factors
1. Past history of PONV. 2. History of motion sickness. 3. Obesity. 4. Female. 5. Early ambulation. 6. Children.
