ABSTRACT
This chapter details the step-by-step procedure or process (i.e., process requirements) for preparing a draft and ƒnal environmental impact statement (EIS). All pertinent requirements that must be followed in the course of preparing an EIS are detailed, including all regulatory requirements cited in the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) implementing regulations (Regulations).1
