ABSTRACT
Although much of the knowledge of toxicology and poisoning required for the MCEM examination is assessed by the Part 1 MCQs and particularly the Part 2 SAQs, there is much more to the poisoned patient than just applying that knowledge, so there are a number of aspects of the emergency management of the poisoned patient that might be examined in OSCE scenarios.
