ABSTRACT

Leedham cites a case by Koide in 1957 in the Japanese language literature as the earliest reported cerebral rhabdomyosarcoma, but he considered this case to be ‘poorly documented’ and recorded an example of his own in a 45year-old woman with a parietal lobe tumor (Leedham, 1972). Several antecedent cases from the 1930s and 1940s listed by Leedham were likely medullomyoblastomas (Leedham, 1972).
