ABSTRACT
Since 2006, the recruitment to GP training has moved from a traditional interview format to two assessments. Candidates who perform well in the fi rst assessment will then be invited to attend the second. The purpose of these assessments is to provide a fair and evidence-based assessment of candidates for GP training in the UK, and all candidates will be assessed against the National Person Specifi cation for GP training.
